Adapted method related to coronavirus


The events surrounding the coronavirus follow each other quickly and the corresponding measures affect us all. We also take precautions with regard to the health and safety of our employees, their families and of course our customers. At the same time, we try to serve our customers without interruption. We follow the guidelines drawn up by the national government.

The events surrounding the coronavirus follow each other quickly and the corresponding measures affect us all. We also take precautions with regard to the health and safety of our employees, their families and of course our customers. At the same time, we try to serve our customers without interruption. We follow the guidelines drawn up by the national government. Appointments and meetings are either handled online or rescheduled.

Production

We do everything within our power to keep production running and deliver the machines in accordance with the agreements made. That is why, more than ever, we are also in close contact with our suppliers and logistics partners and we work together to achieve this. We will try to inform the best we can, through your regular contact person. If you have any questions, you can of course contact your regular contact person yourself.

Parts

We kindly request you to place orders by telephone or email. In case you want to pick up parts, please indicate this clearly in advance. We put the ordered parts outside so that they can be picked up by you. In case you have to wait, keep 1.5 meters away from other people at all times. Under normal circumstances we would like to offer you a drink, but we hope you understand that this is not possible now.

Service

In the event of a standstill or very urgent problems that cannot be solved remotely, we will, if possible, send a service technician. Requests for preventive maintenance by a service technician can be placed as normal, but the time of execution will be partly determined by the situation surrounding the coronavirus at that time and the restrictions imposed by the government. It goes without saying that physical contact (no handshakes) is avoided during a visit and that sufficient distance (1.5 meters) is kept between each other.

Other training and service related visits will take place as much as possible online. The commissioning of machines also takes place remotely as much as possible.

PMC NAME CHANGE

From the 1st of July, 2020 onward the company name PMC Harvesters Limited will be changed to Ploeger UK Limited. At the same time the PMC products will be branded as Ploeger as of model year 2021.

The PMC 1189 will be named: Ploeger GP1189
The PMC GB7150 will be named: Ploeger GB7150

Please note that your contacts here in the company will remain the same. Banking details; VAT number and contact phone numbers will also remain as is. The new company and brand name will naturally be reflected on all company stationary, media and merchandise. The former PMC branded products will be incorporated on the Ploeger website and all email addresses will have the domain ploeger.com.
